Fuji 9 Extra uses SmartGlass filler technology to enhance strength, translucency and fluoride release compared with previous Fuji IX formulations. The material packs easily into posterior cavities, maintains shape during placement and then “snap sets” within minutes, allowing early finishing and reducing chair time. As a true glass ionomer, it chemically bonds to enamel and dentin, is moisture tolerant and releases high, rechargeable levels of fluoride to support remineralization and caries prevention.
